Whenever in the Hotel, it is important you obey the rules and play safely. Without rules no one could protect you if something went wrong, so that's why Habbo Hotel decided to create the Habbo Way. It is basically the rules you must follow when you play the site. Breaking the rules could earn you a permanent or temporary ban ranging from 2 hours up to 60 days. Getting a ban may effect your chances on becoming a Habbo X. That is why it is important to just play fairly and safely. If you notice someone who breaks the rules, report them, so Habbo Hotel staff can deal with them.

 

When playing Habbo Hotel:

Don't give out your personal details
Never tell anyone your home address, telephone number, email address or mobile phone number. You don't know what these people could do to you.

Don't meet alone in real life
If you really have to meet always take a parent or adult friend with you and only meet in a public place.

Don't talk to people who make you feel uncomfortable
If someone says things to you that you don't like or makes you feel uncomfortable, just leave the room - one mouse click and you're out of there! Using the ignore tab is also another option.

Don't engage in sexual activity online
You will be banned from Habbo for using adult language and pretending to have sex (often referred to as 'cyber'). Play safe and don't take the risk of being banned.

Whilst playing Habbo, your expected to:

Have fun
No point playing something you don't like.. eh?

Meet up with REAL friends
Only be comfortable meeting up with your real friends, don't try meeting up with people you don't know.

Be yourself and stay safe
Be nice, we dare you!
