BattleBall Guide

Battle Ball is a team/ single player based stragety game in which you and/or your team must capture and lock in the coloured squares. Each game lasts 2 minutes and in that time you or your team must score the most amount of points to win. The minimum players in one game is 2 the maximum is 12.

Types of levels

There are four types of gaming levels. To improve your levels you must score more points in the games you play. The 4 levels are:

Beginner - 0 -10.000 points.
Intermediate - 10.001- 100.000 points.
Advanced - 100.001- 500.000 points.
Master - 500.001 and up.

Only beginners can play in the beginner lobby etc. If you try to go into a beginner game when your a master an alert will show up - not allowing you to enter the game. Staying in the lobby for longer than 10 minutes without joining any games will automatically kick you out of the room.

Where can I get tickets and how much do they cost?

One game of Battle Ball will  cost you 2 tickets. These tickets can be purchased from either, the Swimming 'Ool, Rooftop Rumble and even the Battle Ball arena. Just look for the red ticket box. 2 tickets will cost you 1 credit or 20 tickets for only 6 credits

How do I start up a game?

Starting up your game is quick and easy. After you enter the Battle Ball lobby, you should notice a bar to the right side of your screen. There you should see create game, buy tickets, view games and other stuff. If you want to create your own game, simply click 'Create game' and follow the needed steps.

After you feel that your game is well populated, you'll need to press "Start Game" to start the game. Once you start you should enter the arena and begin your game. When the players have appeared in the arena, a Start Counter will appear, counting a down a few seconds before the game starts and showing the option of leaving the game. A game is charged only when it begins; if a player leaves the game before it starts, he/she is not charged the 2 tickets.

On the side you should also notice different coloured bars. The red bar indicates the game has started and you cannot join in. The green bar shows that you can still join in the game. The grey bar shows that the game has finished.

How do I win? What is the aim of the game?

The goal of the game is to bounce over the floor tiles and turn them into your teams colour. Each bounce you make, makes the floor turn darker. Bouncing over the tile 4 times will lock it, and no other person from another team can steal it.

If you are able to colour a closed shape of locked tiles, all the tiles inside the shape will get coloured by your team's colour. By doing this, you'll earn some bonus points for your team.

Also, it's possible to "steal" any opponents' tile which has NOT been bounced over 4 times and thus permanently coloured. The stolen tile will start the "colouring process" all over again, but with a different colour.
